I don't know what's happened to me, but since Wednesday, I have been eating like a complete PIG! And it's all because I put on half a pound at Weight Watchers class on Wednesday night! I had been doing a lot of walking, watching what I was eating and then to put on a half pound just sent me over the edge. It hasn't helped that I have been feeling exhausted every day, even more so now since I have been eating crap for the last few days. I could go to sleep right now! I can't be bothered doing anything and just feel bleh :-( I have been reading all the great blogs out there, trying to get some inspiration so I can feel more optimistic and get back on track. I'm so fed up that I can't even be bothered going to make dinner! Soooo lazy!
I hope I get out of this funk soon - or it will be even worse at weigh in next Wednesday.
"I hope you dance" video helped me feel a bit better last night - maybe I should listen to it again:
And here is a quote I really liked! "Happiness is like a butterfly: The more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder.— Henry David Thoreau
I need to give myself a shake! So I will drag my butt to the kitchen and make a healthy dinner and blast some dance music! And I WILL DANCE! Hey I feel better already!
The process has a ton of ups and downs. As women, especially, our weight can vary as much as 5 lbs in a day depending on when we weigh in. Do your exercise and eat as good as you can. You will see changes. I did WW and its a great place to start. I have to encourage you to focus on other things than the weigh in tho. ;)
Hang in there! The road isn't always an easy one!!
