I'm Back!!

Hey everyone! I feel it has been forever since my last post!!

So last Monday was the Toby Keith gig - it was freaking amazing!! I love his deep American accent! The queue to get in was ridiculous - it was wrapped round the building and about half a mile up the road! And we waited about 45 mins to get in. Just was well it wasn't raining, but it was pretty cold! I was worried we were going to miss the "warm up" act, but we didn't. Mica Roberts was his opening act - a country singer on Toby Keith's record label. She was amazing - great voice! I had goosebumps!
I got this T-Shirt - it doesn't fit me just now - in fact I can't even get it over my shoulders! But I wanted a smaller size in the hopes I will be able to wear it in Florida next year! Yay!

So my weight watchers journey is going well so far! The times I find most difficult are the weekends - and I have been going a bit overboard with eating! My weight is down to 171 pounds!! I am so happy I am finally losing weight again! I'm hoping to get into the 160's by this weekend!! 169.9 would do fine!! lol I haven't been to the gym (broken record!) but I did buy this!

I started it yesterday and it was HARD!! It had running, squats, side lunges (and I HATE lunges!), shoulder raises, bicep curls, boxing! I was sweating! I thought it was going to be easy! I did another workout tonight - yet more lunges, tennis drills, shoulder presses, and leg raises for the abs - this felt even harder, my legs are already sore! Hopefully I can keep this up and get back into some sort of fitness routine. I have also been parking even further from work so I am doing a bit more walking in my daily routine.

Has anyone ever watched Ruby? I started watching it last Tuesday - I love it! I kept crying - I'm such a sap. I cry every week at the Biggest Loser!

Time for me to hit the shower! I hope to get back to regular blogging - I feel better when I blog, I was starting to feel guilty for not blogging and not catching up on my blog reading. I need to get back into my regular routine :-)

Quickie

Just a quick post! I'm so sorry I have not blogged in a week! And yesterday was my one year Bloggiversary!! Yes, one year ago I started this blog - I can't believe a year has gone already! Where has the time gone??? I would have blogged yesterday but I had one of the worst migraines and was sick last night - but this morning my weight was back down to 172.8! lol

Anyway - I am so excited because tomorrow is the Toby Keith concert!!! I can't wait - I have new jeans to wear (and a size smaller than my current ones, thank you very much!), a gorgeous belt - but I'm not sure what top to wear - I have a black top that's nice, or my checked shirt, which looks very country! I will decide tomorrow!

Anyway, I haven't read your blogs in almost a week either, so I apologize for not commenting and stuff!

Hopefully, I will get back into the swing of things after Tuesday!! I am hoping to take my camera for the gig and will post pictures if I do!

Roller Derby!

We had so much fun yesterday at the Roller Derby! The Glasgow Roller Girls were awesome! It was a double header - Bout 1 was Glasgow Roller Girls (Maiden Grrders) vs The Romsey Town Rollerbillies! The 2nd Bout was The Irn Bruisers (GRG) vs Rainy City Roller Girls! Here are some photos of the action!

Has anyone seen or taken part in Roller Derby?? I would love to be able to skate like them - fast skating and bashing into people!! That would get your aggression out! Ha ha ha!!

How was everyone's Halloween?? We don't get any trick or treaters because we live in a secured apartment! Probably just as well since we didn't have anything to give to them!

I go back to work tomorrow - which I am kind of looking forward to so that I can get back into my routine, since I didn't lose any weight this week :-(

I want to thank everyone for their positive comments for my Before Vs After picture post! It really made me happy for you all to notice my progress!! You are all so awesome and supportive!!

Last year vs This year! Comparison pics!

I was looking through some pictures the other day and found my "before" pictures from when I started this blog almost one year ago! Click here if you wanna read it! I then compared them to the pictures I took for the "Biggest Loser" Challenge and although I am nowhere near where I want to be - I was surprised at the difference!

My measurements from 7 November 2008

Waist: 37inch
Hips: 48 inch


I took my measurements on 24 October 2009 and are as follows:

Waist: 33 inch
Hips: 44 inch

I took more measurements but I don't have a comparison from last year! But yay, a total of 8 inches just from those 2 measurements!! Imagine what I could have lost by now if I hadn't gone up and down all year! But hey, imagine if I just gave up! I would probably have a 40 inch waist if I had given up -thank god I stuck this thing out!

This week hasn't been as good diet or exercise wise. I have been off work this week (vacation time!) and because I have been out of my routine, I have been snacking way too much - I forgot to post my weigh in result from the weekend! I was down to 172.8lbs! So close to the 170....... I hope I haven't gained too much when I weigh in this weekend!

Speaking of the weekend - we are going to the Roller Derby!! The Glasgow Roller Girls in Carrie on Skating!! I can't wait - I would love to try Roller Derby - it would be so cool! I will take some pics and post them at the weekend!

I so need to catch up with my blog reading - I am WAYYYY behind!

Workout and Crunchie!

I finally did a workout tonight!!! Woop, woop! I was watching the Biggest Loser and all of a sudden I had the urge to jump on the bike and do a Sprint 8 workout! - It's 25 minutes of intervals, which makes the time seem quicker! I was dripping in sweat afterward and during the "sprint" parts, I kept yelling to myself - LAST CHANCE!! THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE!! lol - Crazy chick!

Anyway, just wanted to post how great I feel after doing my workout! I have been sticking to my points, eating healthy, but every night I have one of these - my treat I look forward to at night! 4 points of chocolaty goodness!














Hopefully I can report a loss when I weigh in at the weekend!!

Update and ON A ROLL, BABY!!

I hate trying to think of titles - I end up just having the word update somewhere in it! lol

Sooo....the last week, I have been super focused and in control and sticking to my points religiously!! I really, really want to achieve my goals!! And I am so going to do it!

My exciting news I wanted to share is WE ARE GOING TO FLORIDA!! We are going next year for 22 nights and I cannot wait!!! I am so excited already and I still have 11 months to go! lol - This is my main motivation now, because there is no way I'm going with this excess baggage! I am going to wear a teeny bikini and I'm going to look HOT!!

I took this photo last time we were in Magic Kingdom - isn't it magnificent!! That's where I got engaged - just outside of the castle!!!



My weight on Saturday was down to 173lbs! I need to get a sidebar with my weight progress on it so it's easier to follow the pounds melting away! Mwahahaha!!

Nothing else is really going on at the moment! Still haven't been to the gym - I can't find motivation for THAT yet! :-( But we are off next week from work, so we are going to get back into a rhythm then - for now, I am going to do the Wii Fit and walking :-)

We went to the movies last night to see Couples Retreat - it was hilarious!! Has anyone else seen it???

Update on Goals!

I can't believe it's been a week since my last entry!! I must say I have done very well with my goals! Every day last week I was drinking about 3 litres of water, I had oats every day for breakfast, I had a green monster 4 out of the 7 days (I ran out of spinach mid week!), have been out most nights for at least 20 mins walking Molly, reading my Goddess book and taking care of myself and the house. The only thing I didn't do was go to the gym. I just didn't go and didn't make any effort to. And as the week went on it was easier just to say I'll start next week. That's a bad way to think! My diet automatically got better by Thursday and I have been sticking to my point religiously! I never weighed myself once during the week either. I weighed in this morning at 174.4. So a loss of 1.2lbs! And that's only after been on track since Thursday!

It has been easier to stick to my WW because I have something exciting to work towards and I can't wait!! I will reveal my exciting news once it has been confirmed!! EEEEK!! SO EXCITED!!!

Ok, it's nearly time for bed for this gal.

New Goals

I haven’t been the best this last week when it comes to healthy eating. In fact, I have been way off most days, and haven’t exercised one little bit. I have been eating far too much sugary things and because of this I have had a migraine most days this week ☹ Own stupid fault. So this week, I am going to set some goals for myself. Just small ones so that I can start feeling good about myself and to know that I CAN achieve things when I put my mind to it! So here goes:

1. Drink at least 2 litres of water everyday.
2. Have oats at least 4 times this week for breakfast
3. Have a green monster every day
4. Go to the gym at least 3 times
5. Read one chapter every night from The Ultimate Goddess
(I bought this book yesterday and it looks awesome!)6. Walk Molly for half an hour each night
7. Do one “beauty” thing for myself every night (face pack, bath etc!)
8. Tidy one room of the house each night.
9. Stop jumping on the scale every day! (ONCE A WEEK IS ENOUGH!)

I finally got some batteries for my scales – and it was NOT good! On Thursday I was UP to 176.8! This morning however, I was down again to 175.6. I know it’s only water fluctuations, but it means I am not losing weight at all. Not that I expect to after what I’ve eaten this past week!

It was a glorious morning here this morning and so I took some photos with my iPhone. Quite a difference from yesterday when we had gale force winds and rain on and off! I quite like it when it’s stormy though! Ha ha!

Update

Just a quick non-update! I was supposed to weigh in this morning for the Biggest Loser Challenge, but my scale was broken!!! Shock, horror!! How could such a thing happen??? It's not that bad though, it only needs new batteries! Maybe if I didn't hop on and off it so often the batteries would last longer! But my weight two days ago was down from 175.8 to 173.6. But it's probably back up again :-(

My food the last week, has been bad :-( But today was better and I ate a ton of veggies, protein and good carbs. But also too much chocolate and biscuits. Why can't I control my cravings??!!

Anyway, I'm still trying to get to bed earlier these days because getting up in the morning is such a bitch! Ghost Whisperer is on so I'm off to watch that before bed time!!
