Bingeing

I have flipped over the edge and have been on a binge for the last week! I keep thinking about food, what am I going to eat next, and I don't care if I put on weight this week at Weight watchers - which will almost certainly be the case! I know I can't give up, but I feel as if I'm just going round in circles - good one day, bad the next. Except now I have been "bad" for a full week now! As I sit here and type this, I feel so full I could burst, but I'm still thinking about what to eat in the next five minutes! I might even go to the bakery next door to work and get a big cake!!

Mmmmm....doughnuts!

I need an intervention!!

Help me!

  1. STOP!!! STOP IT RIGHT NOW!!!

    THIS IS YOUR INTERVENTION!!

I know how hard it is. Trust me. The main thing you have to do is stop. The cravings will keep coming if you keep feeding them. You have to replace the junk with healthy foods. Its pretty hard to binge on fruits and veggies. :P

Drink more water, avoid refined foods. WW is great for getting started. I did well with them, but at one point it didn't help my cravings anymore. The more sugar you put in your system, the worse it is to stop. Sugar really is just like any other drug. It IS addicting! You have to find something to keep your mind occupied. Try doing sit ups and push ups instead. I had to play games with myself. If I really had to eat this (insert junk food here), then I would do 10 push ups and 30 crunches first. Usually I wouldn't eat it after wards anyway.

Snap outta your funk! You are a woman and your weight will fluctuate. My weight can vary by 5 lbs each day. Seriously. That's a messy head game.

Did you take measurements? Go by those results. If not, get some measurements, get on the scale and DO something GOOD and HEALTHY for yourself. Don't wallow and feel like it doesn't matter. It DOES matter. DON'T GIVE UP!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!! :D

Hang in there. Pick yourself up and take the bull by the horns!
