More Positive!!

Hey people,

When reading my last post, I realised I need to stop whining, just get on with things, and just do it! (Hillary, thank you for your comments! You made me feel so much better, that I CAN do it, and I don't have to give up. I'm going to try your tips about doing sit ups or push ups before eating something junky. I feel so much better now, and I think you really helped with that!)

So I thought I would be more positive about health in this post. This past week I have been getting more sleep, trying not to eat so bad, and just trying not to obsess about food, which inevitably leads to binges. We got home early from work yesterday (yippeee!) so when I got home, I got stuck in to some housework! I had MTV on, dusting cloth in hand and went to work. When the vacuum cleaner came out though, that's when Molly started barking at me, and going crazy (I don't think she likes the vacuum cleaner?! lol) I even tried to clean the windows, which is tricky, because we live in an apartment, on the 3rd floor, and I can't reach the top or bottom corners of the window from inside- so now you can see where I cleaned to! Hey ho!

Tonight I am going to tackle our second bedroom, which we had initially turned in to a gym ( it was a huge monstrosity multi-gym with Smith machine, bench, flye, pulley system. It was great but not a lot of room to walk round it to add your weights on to it. So, we took a while to get rid of that and in that time it really became a dumping ground for towels, washing baskets and old clothes! Then Kenny started using it for playing his Xbox, so now all that is in there, and there is also an exercise bike, which is a really good one, better than some of the ones you get in the gyms! We still have the olympic dumb-bells, olympic barbell, EZ-curl bar and loads of weights. I really want to get that room tidied so we can turn it in to a mini movie theatre/gym - sounds cool! If only we had enough room for an indoor pool and bowling alley :P

Hope everyone has a great evening!

  1. I'm glad to hear that you're feeling positive again! We can certainly all get down into the dumps sometimes!

If you can kick Kenny off the Xbox, it sounds like you have the perfect set up for some one on one time with the bike!! :)
