Workout - cardio and barbell circuit!

I had a KICK ASS workout at the gym after work today.  I did just over an hour which included:

Treadmill - 10 mins - alternating running with walking
Crosstrainer - 10 mins - Kilimanjaro hill workout - level 10 - 13
Barbell Workout:  using 10kg  barbell including:
Press Ups
Deadlifts
Upright rows
Squats
Shoulder Press
Lunges
Underhand row (for back)
Plie squat

I did 10 reps of each exercise and was going to repeat it 3 times, but my legs were toast just after 2 sets!

I then hopped on the spin bike and did 15 minutes, followed by 2 x 20 crunches on ball and then 3 sets of tricep pushdows (10kg). My triceps were burning!!

All this plus stretching burned a whopping 750 calories!!  I was a total sweat fest and I felt so GREAT afterwards!!

Now if I could just get me appetite under control then I will be a weight loss machine!!

  1. Wow, that was a sick workout! Great job! You just kept going and going!! I really need to start doing squats and lunges.
