Hi guys! While waiting for my dinner to be ready I thought I'd just do a quick update!
Diet has been going good, and finally my whey protein arrived yesterday! Yay! I ordered it TWO WEEKS ago - so about time I say! I ordered Reflex Whey and also some IsoWhey Breezer orange flavor - the isowhey Breezer needs some sweetening up I think but the Reflex is an old favorite of mine - it's just delicious!
Anyways, had a good workout after work today. Still haven't braved the weights room in the gym. Not sure why, think I feel a bit out of place there because of my weight - how dumb is that. Still, I am sure once I lose a bit I will be all up in there! lol I did my couch to 5k training tonight. BUT. I forgot my headphones for my ipod, so bought a cheap pair from a shop next to my office. Hmmm, by the time I got to the gym I couldn't hear a thing through the new headphones, so just had to improvise - I was not a happy bunny without my music, but I got on with it anyway :)
I thought I would start logging my workout stats, so here goes:
Total time: 40 mins
Max HR: 178
Avg HR: 144
Cals burned: 380
Distance covered: 3.66km
I did 25 mins Couch to 5K and then just did a 10 minute walk on an incline and cooldown.
Changed WW classes last Wednesday, and weight was back up to 189. But now I am working out, more sensible eating and feel like I finally have it together!
Have a great day everyone! :-)

Great job going to the gym! I know what you mean, I HATE not having my music. Its just so hard.
ReplyDeleteBut you did it and that's all that matters!!
I get right cranky if I don't have music or TV while I work out! I'm just not good company for myself! LOL!:)
ReplyDeleteAwesome job sticking to it!!
feeling in control is the best!
ReplyDeleteI am with the other girls...great job on still working out and getting through it! We all have to do what is necessary to get through the GRIND!
ReplyDeleteNice job!! Keep it up! You will know when you are ready to go back to the weight area...I completely understand not feeling fit enough to go in there....I felt that way for a long time - it is a vicious cycle. But you will know when it is right!
Jess
Well done you! Congrats! I am going to try starting the couch to 5k in a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the encouragement on my goals post!
