4th Weigh In Results and I did a 5k!!

Just a quick post before I head off to bed!  Only one more day of work and then off for the Royal Wedding and a May Day Bank Holiday Monday!  Yay to 3 day weeks!!! I wish every work week was a three day week - I mean, we would all be so much more productive, no?

Start Weight:  197 lbs
Last week's Weight:  187.4 lbs
This week's Weight:  186.2 lbs
Total so far: 10.8 lbs

So another loss of 1.2lbs.  I am pretty bummed about that, but at least it's moving in the right direction!

On Easter Sunday, I did something I had never done before!  I managed to complete 5.15km on the treadmill!!  I had it in my mind that if I was going to workout that night, then I was going to do 5km!  It was sooo tough - but I managed to battle through.  It took me 45 minutes to complete it, I had to walk half of it because I started feeling pain in my right hip after only 20 minutes.  So, I just walked and when I felt able to, I ran.  When I had completed 4km I decided to just run until the 5km was complete!  OMG!  What a sense of accomplishment I felt when I had finished!  I felt tired, but oh so good.

On Easter Monday, Kenny and I hit up the gym again.  I was going to just do an easy workout, but once I was there and had started - I really gave it my all.  I started off on the Cross Trainer for about 18 minutes and then did heavy duty circuits with 8kg medicine ball.

Squats with above head throws,
Push ups
Lunge with ab twist
Woodchopper move (not sure if that's the right name!)
Ball smash - really gets your aggression out!

I did about 4 rounds of the above with 10-12 reps for each one.

This workout is not for the faint of heart!  My heart rate was at 101% and the sweat was literally bouncing off the floor!  Sexy, huh!? lol

I have found it really difficult to walk or move the past couple of days too, so I know I kicked my own butt!!  Bahahaha!

Hope you are all kicking butt this week too!!

PS. The Creme Egg I had on Sunday was delicious!!!
