Enough is Enough

So the last few weeks I have fallen right off the wagon. I was doing so great with my diet and exercise and then BAM! It all kinda started when I went for my usual training session one Tuesday a few weeks ago and she had "double booked me". I was furious and upset and once I got back to my car I was in floods of tears - I don't really know why I felt so upset but I felt that I wasn't important and that I didn't matter. So set off a chain of events that led to me cancelling a couple of training sessions (I haven't been to see her for nearly two weeks!) and I cancelled my PT training altogether. I still have 3 more sessions that I have already paid for and then that will be me finished with it. Because she kept telling me she wanted me to come off the diet for two weeks, I begrudgingly did it - I did tell her before I was just going to keep on counting my starchy carbs and that it was working for me but she said it would be better to come off the diet and just eat healthy, allow a few treats, have a glass of wine, go out for dinner etc, so I allowed a few treats, and then I wanted more treats and couldn't resist them.

So long story short.......I am back up to 180lbs. I was down to 171.2lbs just a few weeks ago.

Last Friday was my birthday - I turned 33!!! OMG!! How did that happen?? I can't believe I'm 33 - I certainly don't feel 33! We went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Edinburgh and it was FABULOUS!! I just love their onion rings with the BBQ sauce - they are to die for!! Oh and not forgetting the Strawberry Daiquiris! Yum!

I am back on the wagon now - I have started the day with a healthy breakfast of porridge oats with a teaspoon of honey and some low fat soya milk (I think I will change to soya milk now - cow's milk makes me feel blech!)

So my stats for today are:
Weight: 180.0lbs
Body Fat : 43.5%
Water: 40.3%
LBM: 96.6lbs

Now for some scary measurements!

Waist: 34.2 inch
Hips: 45.2 inch

Time to start taking care of myself.

  1. Last Friday was my birthday too.. Happy Birthday.

Don't let one irresponsible trainer get you down. You are paying them to motivate and inspire you. The second they don't, fire them. But, get a new one and make sure this time that you are pleased as punch.

    Cheers,
    Missa
