Workout!!

It's just after half eleven at night here in cold Glasgow! I am just back from the gym where I had an awesome workout!! I burned a whopping 545 calories in 50 minutes! My max heart rate was 185 and my average was 160! That is totally awesome for me, because usually I faff about warming up, then it might take about 10 minutes just to get my heart rate into the 150's!! But it was right up from the get go when I got on the treadmill and did the workout my trainer had created for me! I was in and out of the gym within an hour! I never had time to shower after my workout as the gym closes at half eleven (it was 11 by the time I finished my workout!) I knew half an hour would not be enough time for me to shower, dry, change, and dry my hair! They were even switching the lights out as I was making my way back to the changing rooms!!

I was supposed to have been writing down what I've been eating this week to let my trainer know how bad my diet is (lol!) But I have been bad at doing this. It has made me so aware at how much crap I'm eating and I'm ashamed to tell her how awful I eat! It has truly opened my eyes at how bad my nutrition really is. Usually when I'm "off" my diet, I don't track anything at all that I eat - usually I tally it up in my mind and think to myself "oh, it's not really that bad, I've not eaten that much...." But seeing it all in black and white makes me realise what a piggy I really am!

I have set a target to lose 35 pounds for my vacation! It's totally doable, and I hope to lose a wee bit more than that!! Once my trainer cleans up my diet, I know I will lose for sure!! She has even told me she will know if I have not followed her plan and I can't cheat!! Ha ha ha! I think I would be too scared to cheat once I start my diet!!

Ok, I have rambled on long enough! I better go walk Molly before it's midnight and I turn into a pumpkin!!
