Floridays!!

The weather here has been glorious the last few days – high temperatures and beautiful clear sunny skies. It is totally putting me in the mood for Florida!! I just keep thinking of the beautiful sun, driving the convertible, outlet shopping, driving to the beach and chilling out on the warm muggy nights, listening to Lady Antebellum - American Honey, anyone?? It makes me think of Jimmy Buffet songs!! Maybe because of Margaritaville!! Hee hee!

I weighed in this morning at 182lbs – I will just take it one pound at a time!! If I can get into the 140’s before my trip, I will be extremely happy!!

Yesterday I ate pretty good (compared to the last few weeks!!) I didn’t eat the best of things (I had a slice of cake and a candy lollipop!) but I estimated my calories about 1500. I am finally starting to feel more positive, and the more positive I feel, the less self conscious I feel! There is no point in feeling bad about myself and how I look right now because I haven’t lost the weight as yet, that is just wasted energy. I can concentrate on eating healthy and moving more in this moment and just know that these little steps will take me closer and closer to my goal.

I bought some books yesterday for some summer reading.

Coleen is a cool girl who is a “normal” size and is in to promoting Real Women in modelling campaigns. Her book is all about fashion, accessories, make up and feeling good about yourself whatever your size!! It’s about getting the right fit of clothes and making the most of what you’ve got! I have only dipped into a few chapters but it’s great!!
