Update and ON A ROLL, BABY!!

I hate trying to think of titles - I end up just having the word update somewhere in it! lol

Sooo....the last week, I have been super focused and in control and sticking to my points religiously!! I really, really want to achieve my goals!! And I am so going to do it!

My exciting news I wanted to share is WE ARE GOING TO FLORIDA!! We are going next year for 22 nights and I cannot wait!!! I am so excited already and I still have 11 months to go! lol - This is my main motivation now, because there is no way I'm going with this excess baggage! I am going to wear a teeny bikini and I'm going to look HOT!!

I took this photo last time we were in Magic Kingdom - isn't it magnificent!! That's where I got engaged - just outside of the castle!!!

My weight on Saturday was down to 173lbs! I need to get a sidebar with my weight progress on it so it's easier to follow the pounds melting away! Mwahahaha!!

Nothing else is really going on at the moment! Still haven't been to the gym - I can't find motivation for THAT yet! :-( But we are off next week from work, so we are going to get back into a rhythm then - for now, I am going to do the Wii Fit and walking :-)

We went to the movies last night to see Couples Retreat - it was hilarious!! Has anyone else seen it???

Time to go make dinner - Chicken and WW fries!! Have a great evening everyone!

  1. That's the ultimate goal! I put on my list of reason why I want to lose weight near the top of the list is "go to a beach on vacation." I haven't done that in over 10 years! I also made a goal that when I reached my goal, I'd post a bikini shot on my blog. That's about as "out there" as one can go. As far as exercise motivation, I have my recumbent bike and ellipitical machine facing the big screen TV and in the morning I watch those cheesy infomercials for P90X and Extreme and all those shows and watch them. I've found it makes me work out really really hard and feel firm. I've even started taping the infomercials so I can continue to watch people morph and sweat and get hard. It works super great at motivating. Keep it going! You don't seem like you have that much to lose. I need to lose 40 to be in the middle of healthy, but honestly, I want to lose 60 to be the weight I always felt most confident at. But, I'm 5'8" so 60 pounds is probably like 30 for a short woman. My friends all roll their eyes at the number but tall women have more pounds. I've never taken that long of a vacation--that sounds like a goal physically and spiritually. How nice! :-)

  2. yayyy flordia!! My best friend is turning 21, and we are going there in a few weeks for her birthday! I mean, can you think of a better place to celebrate your birthday than disney world? I can't!

I love how you're so motivated for your goals!! that's awesome!

I don't know if you're anything like me, but I used to HATE going to the gym. I dreaded it. And i think it was always because I would work out SO hard, and it never seemed to make a bit of difference. Then I found out- you don't have to kill yourself at the gym to lose weight. Actually, you shouldn't! Go online, and find your target heart rate for fat burning. If you stay in that range, you're burning fat! if you go over, you're just burning sugar out of your bloodstream!
I'm 200 pounds and 19 so my target heart rate is 110-131. To keep my heart rate in range, I just have to walk between 2.3-3.0 mph! super easy!

hope this helps...maybe the gym won't be such a pain anymore!!

  5. Wow - 22 nites in Florida? That's a LONG time! Congrats! I used to live in Orlando. Had the resident and season passes to all the theme parks. Lots of fun.

Congrats on sticking to your points. I have been tracking my weight in a separate post on my blog. It makes it easy for me to see the trends which you kinda lose when you just do a ticker. I was doing a ticker but it kept going up then down then up... you get the picture.

    Take care.

PS. How's your Molly doing? Mine needs to go on a diet!

  6. Great goal. We are thinking of taking our daughter to Disney next May, so that's also my motivation. I don't want to have to hide my body on the beach.

22 nights will be so great!
