New Goals

I haven’t been the best this last week when it comes to healthy eating. In fact, I have been way off most days, and haven’t exercised one little bit. I have been eating far too much sugary things and because of this I have had a migraine most days this week ☹ Own stupid fault. So this week, I am going to set some goals for myself. Just small ones so that I can start feeling good about myself and to know that I CAN achieve things when I put my mind to it! So here goes:

1. Drink at least 2 litres of water everyday.
2. Have oats at least 4 times this week for breakfast
3. Have a green monster every day
4. Go to the gym at least 3 times
5. Read one chapter every night from The Ultimate Goddess
(I bought this book yesterday and it looks awesome!)6. Walk Molly for half an hour each night
7. Do one “beauty” thing for myself every night (face pack, bath etc!)
8. Tidy one room of the house each night.
9. Stop jumping on the scale every day! (ONCE A WEEK IS ENOUGH!)

I finally got some batteries for my scales – and it was NOT good! On Thursday I was UP to 176.8! This morning however, I was down again to 175.6. I know it’s only water fluctuations, but it means I am not losing weight at all. Not that I expect to after what I’ve eaten this past week!

It was a glorious morning here this morning and so I took some photos with my iPhone. Quite a difference from yesterday when we had gale force winds and rain on and off! I quite like it when it’s stormy though! Ha ha!

  1. Best of luck with those goals of yours. I know you can do it! I was also a little sugary this week. I thought I would celebrate halloween a little early and had like 3 crunch bars. It was horrible. Heres to a better week for both of us!! =)

  2. Great goals! I especially like the last one, about only getting on the scale once a week. I think people can drive themselves crazy by getting on the scale too much, especially women. Our weight fluctuates SO much depending on our mood, the food we eat, the time of month, the time of day...etc, so it's probably best to just do it once a week, at most. Good luck!!

  3. Yeah, don't even peek at the scale, just let your clothes fit tell you how you're doing until the next weigh-in. I can relate. I started the exercise first 60-90 minutes every day since May first--gained 2 pounds. That scared me, so now I'm focused on backing down on the exercise to 40 minutes a day and concentrating on the diet exclusively because honestly that's the only way it'll come off.
