Working Out, Weight loss and trashy TV!

Hey Bloggies! How are you all doing? I know I say this EVERY time - but I'm sorry for lack of posting. I have just been so busy that by the time I get home from the gym at night, I am ready to just chill and watch some TV. Kourtney and Khloe take Miami started here last night so that was my guilty pleasure last night! I love those shows!! Does anyone watch/watched Jerseylicious??? I LOVE that show - the bitchiness is out of this world - (reminds me of me at work - ha ha just joking!)

I am into week four now, and things are going well!! I have had a couple of hitches when it comes to working out but my diet has been totally SPOT ON! I have not strayed or deviated in any way! I have not had chocolate, sweets, crisps, white bread, potatoes or any crap for 4 week!!! I know, I can hardly believe it myself. I even gave up diet soda last Monday. I don't really miss it, but I did have 500ml bottle of Coke Zero yesterday while out having lunch at Subway. But to tell you the truth, it didn't really tast that good and I didn't finish it! That is progress. Usually I would have a couple of bottles of Coke Zero or Pepsi Max and Diet Irn Bru each day! I saw it as my "treat". NO MORE - IT IS EVIL!!

So on to my weight loss result so far...........drum roll please.............I have lost 13.4lbs!!! How freakin' awesome is that?! I am so excited to have lost that much. It's the most weight I have lost at the one time for a long time! Usually I lose about 10, then put 5 back on, yadda, yadda, yadda! But now I am so focussed on my goal that nothing is going to stop me! I even ran for 10 whole minutes at the end of my workout last night!! I put 933 FLZ on my iPhone and the music just kept me going - I know I could have ran for longer, but I didn't want to wear myself out totally - I burned 730 calories in about an hour and 10 mins last night!!! I LOVE WORKING OUT AGAIN!!

So tonight I was supposed to go to Body Combat but I cancelled it and I will just go to the gym and see how long I can run for! I have my personal training tomorrow and I'm booked in for Body Combat on Friday morning before work. I will update my weight tomorrow because that is really my official weigh in day!! I'm hoping it's 14lbs!

  1. That's awesome, congrats!!! I really need to kick the Coke Zero habit. I know it's absolutely horrible for me but I swear I'm addicted. Do you have any tips or did you just go cold turkey?

  2. Hey Layla! I was addicted too! But it made me feel bloated and just blah, and after watching an episode of "Ruby" where she gave up diet soda to help her keep losing weight, I decided to just try it too. I just went cold turkey! And it never bothered me! Now my new habit is coffee in the morning.....ha ha ha!

  3. Congrats on the awesome weight loss! Way to go! I know you will see a 14 lb drop for your next weigh in. Wow, you ran for 10 minute? YIKES. I am not even close to that yet.

    As for those TV shows... don't watch them. Sorry! We were into "The Tudors" on Showtime but it just ended. boo.
