All I have been doing these last couple of weeks is work, gym, shopping, sleep! It has been hectic but I am enjoying my training and feel so much better for it! It's truly amazing how eating right and exercising hard makes you feel so much better about yourself. In the last week I have lost just under 6 pounds and I feel my work trousers are looser and my stomach is getting smaller! Yay!!
My diet is a bit boring but I am eating foods I like (even if they are a bit repetitive!) and doing such intense workouts with my trainer - she is awesome - pushes me to my absolute limit and I keep going even though I want to quit! I know I would have quit if I were doing it on my own. Today was really tough - treadmill at 15% incline and walking fast - and cross trainer on a mountain setting! :-D Then circuits using only a 10kg barbell - that was killer! And then some running on the treadmill to cool down!!
I did my 2nd spin class last night and that really is B R U T A L!! I really can't keep up with the rest of the class but I will just push myself to what I can do and I know I'll get fitter!
So that really is all that's been going on! I'm going to walk Molly and then watched some Charmed and then bed! Hope everyone is having a great start to the week!!

ReplyDeleteGood job on keeping up with the workouts. Spin classes are very tough! Someone once told me that the exercise you tend to avoid is the one you probably need the most. Interesting. I would add lunges to that avoidance list also and I KNOW I need them!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on the weight loss! You are doing fabulous! I have been scared to death of spin classes, but need to drop weight like crazy before my wedding so I am taking my first one tomorrow...eeks so nervous. Any advice for what I should bring?
