Feet Killers!!

Last night was The Retirement Party and although we were all dreading, it turned out to be a really nice evening! The retiree was very emotional towards the end and was nearly crying when we gave her retirement gift to her. We had gotten her 2 tickets for the seaplane to Oban. It's very picturesque there! The seaplane leaves right from Glasgow on the River Clyde - I would love to experience that.

Beautiful isn't it! I have only been there once and I had forgotten how beautiful it is!

The purple satin shoes in my previous post were feet killers! We were standing most of the night, and nearly every minute was agony! And I could hardly walk back to my car at the end of the night, even though it was only a few meters away from her house :-( This was what I wore.....

Yes, as usual, all black. I got my hair did too on the Wednesday, so I was happy with that! lol

I have added my weight loss goals to the left of my blog. I decided to break it down in to more manageable goals instead of thinking that I have to lose over 40lbs! So I will just take a step at a time!

Oh and Kenny passed his driving test yesterday! His first time! Yay! So we are hoping to out tonight and celebrate. I will not go overboard.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

~Eve :-)

  4. I hear you on the manageable goals. I find to not focus so much on the scale and numbers but to put my energy into LIVING! If you eat healthy and focus on moving ( find what you love to do !) you will be healthy!

Happy Spring to you from my garden in the Midwest!
