My Goals for the upcoming week!

Wow, I am still sore from my workout on Friday!  I finished up work, headed to the gym and did my Couch to 5k.  I must say I am really enjoying doing it this time around.  I actually look forward to going to the gym, getting sweaty and I feel amaze-balls afterwards! lol  After I did my run - I did some weights.  I focussed on chest and triceps and I must have been doing something right because I can still feel the "good" soreness in the chesticular area today!

On Saturday morning I hit up the gym again and did another day of Couch to 5k.  I actually skipped Week 2 and I started Week 3 on the Friday, and it feels easy!  I know I can run longer than 3 mins at a time, which I why I went straight on to week 3.  This is what I did -

Treadmill - 30 mins - 5mins warm up. Then 1.5 mins running.  1.5mins walking, 3 mins running, 3 mins walking - REPEAT.  7 mins cool down.

Cross Trainer - Interval Hill Workout - Level 14 -   13 Mins

All in all I burned a whopping 450 calories in this workout!  Bad ass!!  Yeah!

This coming week I am going to aim to do the following:

Monday   - Spin Class
Tuesday  -  Couch to 5K
Wednesday - Body Pump
Thursday - WW Meeting!
Friday - Maybe Body Combat before work - otherwise Couch to 5k after work!
Saturday - ???  Haven't decided yet! (Depends on what happens on Friday!)

My mini goals for this week are:

Aim for at least 1.5litres of water each day.
Track, track, track all of my food.
Take 30 mins to tidy/clean one room each night.
Get to bed earlier - I struggle with this!!
Less sugary snacks.
At least 5 servings of fruit/veg each day.

My mini weight loss goal for this week is 2 pounds!!  I think if I put my mind into my tracking and eating less sugary snacks and upping my exercise I can do it!

Hope you all enjoy the Super Bowl if that's your thang!! My other half is recording it!  =)

Here's to a great week!!! =)  And this was too cute to resist!

  1. These sounds like great goals! I also need to spend more time cleaning my apartment at night - my boyfriend and I have let the dirty dishes monster back in, ugh. I definitely understand about the sweet treats, I'm trying to give them up too. Just remember that if it sucks to say no, the less often you eat them the less often you'll crave them. Proven fact. : )

  3. I'm loving the fact that you are making mini goals, and doing a different workout each day of the week. I have a very limited attention span so I need to start doing that as well;)
