Today was my last day at work until Tuesday 29th December!! Yay! I am glad because we had more snow today and I hate travelling to work in the snow and ice. Everything seems to come to a halt here when it snows - it's ridiculous! I heard a plane from the US (I forget where, but somewhere very cold!) had to be diverted to Glasgow Airport because Heathrow was closed because of snow and ice, and then stuck at Glasgow Airport after it cancelled flights! An American woman they interviewed said she couldn't believe it because they left the United States where it was minus 20! And here it's only minus 2! She is right! It just shows you how unprepared we are here in the UK!
Well, not much to report on the diet front (or lack thereof!). I am going out tomorrow with my dad to get some items for Christmas dinner and will try my best to eat more healthily until Friday!
I'm off to watch One Magic Christmas! Has anyone seen this? It's one of my favorite Christmas movies!!! Love it, love it, love it!!
I live in Phoenix in the desert and today it snowed in the mountains and here in the desert we had huge hail and ice! Very weird indeed! You reminded me, I need an inspiration song. I used to have some but then quit listening to new music because it was just so awful. I need to find something perky and fun and inspiring. Probably a Sheryl Crow song (although they're overplayed). Have a super happy holiday.
