Red Ruby Slippers!

It's been like forever since I last blogged! I kept meaning to post, but got caught up reading everyone else's blogs.

So last Monday I lost 1 pound at WW class. But since then I had my office Christmas party, which was really good, even though I was dreading it the whole time in case it was a flop, since I was the one that had organised it! The dinner was really nice, I actually tried to keep to the more sensible choices on the menu. I had vegetable soup to start (yummy!), then for main course I had rib eye of Scotch beef ( no sauce!) with mashed potato and veggies and dessert was a gorgeous chocolate mousse in the cutest tiny dish you have ever seen! I wish I had taken my camera for some pics! Then we all danced for the rest of the night, until midnight when we nearly turned into pumpkins! Unfortunately most of us were working the next day :( These are the shoes I bought for the night............ god knows how I managed to dance in them! I sure as hell couldn't walk, but dancing was okay!

Aren't those shoes gorgeous!! They remind me of Dorothy's ruby slippers in the Wizard of Oz - one of my fave films! I love, love, love them! Just need to practice walking in them! Not used to 5" heels!

So tonight's weigh in at WW was not so good. I put on half a pound. Which is actually better than I thought it was going to be. I was sure it was at least 2 or 3 pounds! I so want to get to 180 pounds, and keep hovering around 183 - 184....... it's only a few pounds so why is it so hard???

Thanks to you all for your kind and motivating comments on my last post...... it keeps me going when I feel like giving up completely!
